BLOIS 1997 - A few good ideas

During all our travels, we try to find the people that had amusing or interesting ideas. You are the judges.

Astumania - Tuyaucom
That idea is already used by motorbikers, and Astumania presented here the ultralight version. Looking at its simplicity, that kind of equipment should find buyers, especially in flight schools.

To communicate between the instructor and student, or pilot and co-pilot, an intercom is usally used. Well, the quality is sometimes far from perfect, the batteries go empty. Electronic equipment suffer of intensive use, and their replacement is expensive. Tuyaucom is an interesting alternate.

Why not join the two helmets with two little specific tubes ? That's exactly what Tuyaucom offers. Excellent sound quality, no interferences, simple and very cost effective. Someone just needed to think about it !

Accessories for specific aerial use are of course offered, including a link to the radio, and its remote switching by a simple pressure pear.

On our opinion, a clever accessory, to buy as from FRF 295.-, VAT included.

Virgule - Junior's ultralight
While Daddy gets flying, Junior may as well get his/her own ultralight.

These kites are available in various shapes, and can be self-built. For only FRF 50.- to 100.-, an excellent mean to keep children busy on the ground.

An amusing idea
During the week-end, we noticed that camper, out of which a trike sail was to be seen.

A very simple idea: buy an old unused camper, take out all the internal structure. Then adapt the front side (this looking towards the tracting vehicle) so that it opens in two parts, one upper and one lower one, the later being as well used as a loading ramp.

Then push and secure your trike inside it. Add your camping equipment. And you then get a mean to move your trike around as well as lodging for a very low cost. Generally speaking, you just have to check the chassis and road lights.
