THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS PRESENT

Our Canadian friends invented, a few years ago, the perfect Christmas present for all ultralight lovers. Strange that one did not read more about it.

In Quebec city, a Mr. Jacques Fleury founded a company in 1989. This is, to our knowledge, the only one to offer THE ultralight vehicle able to answer (almost) all your wishes, be it on the ground, on the snow, in the water, and in the air. The perfect recreational vehicle. Unfortunately, almost unknown outside the French-speaking Canada.

This is a well protected cart, available as single or tandem, with a pusher motor (Rotax 503, 582, or 618) and a protected propeller.

For its flying part, it has a specific parachute, what makes it a motorchute. As an option - to be specified at order time - it can as well accomodate a delta wing that makes it a weightshift trike.

For the remainder, this is the only ultralight to answer your need all-year round... in flight, on the ground, and on water.

The standard version has 4 wheels, the 2 front ones allowing steering, what gives a good stability. Without the parachute or the trike wing, you can use it to drive.

These wheels may be replaced by skis. Therefore, on the snow, you can use it exactly as a snowmobile, should the weather be too bad to fly.

And you can add retractable floats, which allow taking-off and landing on the water. Or to simply go fishing.

Let's think: generally speaking under our latitudes, a boat can only be used 4 to 6 months a year, a snowmobile only 2 to 3 months a year.

The true bonus of the Para-Ski is that you can use it all year round, with or without its flying parts.

Standard versions, including the painted cart with wheels, the parachute, and the motor, are offered in the USA for USD 12'695.- (single seat, 503), USD 14'295.- (single seat, 582), USD 15'995.- (tandem, 582) and USD 19'595.- (tandem, 618).

Several options are available, as a larger parachute (USD 350.- to 525.-), skis (USD 735.-), retractable floats (USD 3'795.-), custom covers, etc.
