HYDRO-ULTRALIGHT COMPETITION

An original ultralight competition, do not miss it !

In the 30's, the Schneider Cup was definitely the most known event for hydro-aviation, with competitors from Italy, France, UK and USA.

At that time, this race allowed to get numer of technical improvments, for instance allowing to create the direct predecessors of aircrafts like the Supermarine Spitfire.

On the idea from the Gatti Avioshop Library of Milano (Italy), this cup will be restarted this year, that time for ultralights

As we fully agree with the organisation's goals, we quote:

"Our hope is that this event can help to create a new enthusiasm for private aviation, and help revitalize flying for the "little guy". Our hope is that." Our hope is that it will also help to install interest in the aviation world for young people, and provide a challenge for small ultralight manufacturers to meet."

Such occasions being seldom, ULM Europe asked, and got, that a few foreign pilots can participate in the first run of the competitions preparing for the Small Schneider Cup.
