YOUR 2nd GENERATION DIGITAL INSTRUMENTATION:
Light, flexible, reliable EFIS. Grows with your aircraft and needs.

The first generation of EFIS was a relatively simple system, allowing to see basic information. The second generation systems, like Nesis, are an investment for a long time. Nesis is developed and manufactured in Europe, your warranty that a fast answer will be given should you have questions.

The easiest comparison is your vertebral column: Without its spinal channel, your brain would be unable to talk to your fingers, neither to receive the information about what you are touching. The Human being is as it is... you just cannot at will add two more arms and hands, although you certainly would need it time to time.

This is what Nesis brings you: a system that can grow with your needs, without changing the main unit. You simply configure it as you need it today, then add components as your needs grow, or as you change your present aircraft for a better one.

The basic Nesis unit, available with either 6.5" or 8.4" screen, packs in a very light and compact case:
- a full flight instrumentation, for aircrafts, gyrocopters, and helicopters;
- a complete engine instrumentation and alert,system for Rotax 912, Rotax 914, Jabiru 2200, Jabiru 3300, Lycoming, piston engines up to 6 cylinders;
- an inertial gyroscopic central;
- an auto-pilot;
- a GPS with moving map;
- a logbook for several pilots;
- and a display for the aircraft's flight manual.

Nesis includes 4 basic ways to display the information you need at a single key press:

Classical flight view (fixed wings):

Displays an odometer, artificial horizon with slip indicator, altitude, engine RPM and admission pressure, GPS awareness, altimeter, CHT, EGT, fuel and oil pressure, fuel status.

All these are of course adjustable and fully configurable.

Engine view:

All engine, fuel and electric parameters are displayed there.

Each gauge can be configured in combinations of bars, needles, labels, with range, markings, limits adjustable. Visible and audio alarms are issued when given parameters are out of range.

Navigation view:

This displays the navigation screen full screen.

All maps are optimized for the VFR flight, include elevation, rivers, cities, airspace information with vertical situation. This works with the route planning, and can as well direct the auto-pilot..

Modern view:

All you need during your flight is synthesized here, either with large artificial horizon, or sythetic terrain sight, and this background can be replaced by a large moving map.

The Nesis EFIS includes all of this in its basic kit. This is complemented by easy-to-use, logically built menus, that allow you to adjust the system according to your language and preferences.

To the basic kit, then a number of additional devices can be attached, such as uninterruptible power supply, autopilot servos, magnetic compass, etc, up to making it able to manage as an example the GEONISS system for orthophotography.

Two Nesis units can be configured, in any mix of 8.4" and 6.5" sizes, to ensure either full redundancy for the copilot, or as a master / slave configuration. This is valid for both side-by-side and tandem arrangements.

By electing to use a Nesis EFIS, you protect your initial investment: it will follow you along the years, and will adapt to your future needs with ease. It is regularly upgraded, both in software and firmware areas, and you will benefit of the new versions as soon has they are available and suitable for your present aircraft. We believe in long term relationship with our Customers, and make sure they get the best possible service.
